I am the owner, operator and sole trader of AMB TECHNICAL SERVICES in WA.

 

After competing my plumbing apprenticeship, I began working in the service industry with the UK institute of plumbing.

In 1986 I began working for ELECTROLUX COMMERCIAL SERVICES UK as the technician for the Southwest of England covering Wiltshire, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Cornwall and occasionally in the M25

The work was varied across the kitchen equipment spectrum from a pub’s small glasswasher or dishwasher, right up to the motorway services huge flight dishwasher. This was just only one department across the Commercial Kitchen industry. Other weeks could be any make model brand of gas/ electric cooking ovens right up to the new incoming market of combi ovens .

I would move around next few years, working for the major blue chip equipment service companies in the UK

 

In 1996, looking to build on my expertise, I returned to Bath college and attained city and guilds in Refrigeration.

 

In 2010 I followed my son to Australia and WA. Starting out in WA I found work with an air-conditioning company as a commercial kitchen equipment technician was not as widely recognised as in the UK. From aircon, I moved to working for RHEEM hot water briefly until by complete chance I met the then area manager for COMCATER and I was back into commercial kitchen equipment. 

 

With so many years of experience under my belt I am now offering my experience to the bars clubs restaurant of WA .
